5 Reasons Why America Will Not Be Invaded
United We Stand
America has not been invaded by an enemy since the war of 1812, when the British tried to reclaim their lost colony and were sent home packing. Since that time, no enemy has ever been foolish enough to invade the United States… But why?
Turns out, there are 5 big reasons why America will never be invaded, no matter which wars we may be involved in sometime in the future:
5. We're Separate from Most Other Major Powers

For starters, America benefits from having two oceans separating us from all other major world powers. There aren’t any threats in South America, nor is Canada a particular threat to us. Europe, Russia, China, and even Africa are all so far away from us that a conventional land invasion would be prohibitively expensive and tactically foolish.
This fact is one of the major reasons why America alone escaped from World War II unscathed – we didn’t get invaded by the Japanese or the Nazis.
4. We Have Strong Military Alliances

Plus, America maintains strong military alliances and diplomatic ties to many other countries. The most important alliance is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization or NATO, which was set up after World War II to prevent the spread of communism and ensure democracies could back each other up in military confrontations.
Even if someone were to declare war on America, they wouldn’t just have us to contend with us: they would have to face all of our NATO allies, as well.

3. Our Citizenry is Armed

You can't forget the fact that America has more guns per capita than any other country, and it’s all thanks to our Second Amendment.
Because our citizenry is armed, any occupying force would not only have to fight our military. They would also have to contend with a guerrilla resistance that popped up anywhere they went.
2. America Holds a Lot of Territory

On top of all those factors, America is an enormous land mass and holds a lot of territory. The Continental US itself is approximately 3000 miles across, and that’s not counting Alaska!
Any occupying force has to spend a lot of time and manpower keeping conquered areas in check. But that’s practically impossible with the United States since there’s just so much land to cover and too many people to keep an eye on. Even if our military was defeated in battle, our citizenry would quickly spread out and become an unstoppable resistance force.
1. We Have a History of Rebellion

Last but not least, we the people of the United States have a history of rebellion: it's in our blood. After all, a big part of our national identity is that we rebelled against tyrants and didn't let them oppress us any longer.
If anyone were ever to try to invade the US, they would face a resolved, unified populace like never before. Our previous petty political struggles would seem insignificant compared to the threat we faced – we’d likely see Americans teaming up no matter their political opinions before.

For all these reasons and more, no foe will ever dare invade America – not by land, by sea, or by sky!
Stay strong patriots. United We Stand.
